Finethic is built so that you can learn and plan without giving anything away. This page explains, in plain words, how we handle your information and how to use the site wisely.
The full details follow below. These four points sum up our approach.
You never create an account or give a password to use Finethic.
We do not keep your financial details, quiz answers or calculator entries on any server.
Your plan is saved only in an Excel file that stays with you.
We have no advertisers or partners, and we do not sell or share your information.
This policy follows the spirit of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: collect as little as possible, use it only for the stated purpose, and keep it safe.
Finethic does not ask you to register, and it does not collect your name, phone number, financial details or any other personal information just because you visit or use the site. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us through the Contact page, such as your name, your email address and your message.
When you write to us, your message reaches the Finethic email inbox. We use what you send only to read your message and, where needed, to reply. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your message with anyone else. We keep it only for as long as it is needed to respond or to meet any legal requirement, after which it is deleted. Please do not include sensitive details in your message (see “Stay safe” below).
Some pages show live information from public sources, for example mutual fund data, news headlines and economic data. When such a page loads or when you use a search box, your browser contacts those outside services directly, and, like any website, they can see basic technical details such as your internet address and the text you searched for. These services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Our pages do not send them your plan, your income or your other financial details.
Finethic does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages may remember simple choices, such as your preferred language, in your own browser; this stays on your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings. If we ever add a privacy-friendly visitor counter to understand how many people use the site, we will say so on this page first, and it will not identify you personally.
Finethic is educational and open to everyone, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Younger users are encouraged to explore with a parent or guardian.
If you have written to us, you may ask us what we hold, request that it be corrected, or ask us to delete it, and you may withdraw any consent you gave. Just write to us through the Contact page and we will respond reasonably promptly.
As Finethic grows, this page may be updated. The date of the latest update is shown at the bottom, and we will keep the same principle: collect only what is needed and keep it safe.
Finethic exists to educate and empower. Please read these points so that you can use the site wisely and with confidence.
Finethic is a self-service platform for learning and self-planning, open to everyone. All content, calculators, comparisons, news and quizzes are general information to help you understand money and plan on your own, at your own pace.
Finethic does not provide personalised investment, insurance, tax, legal or financial planning advice. It does not act as a SEBI-registered investment adviser, an IRDAI-registered insurance advisor, a qualified tax consultant or a qualified financial planner, and nothing on the site creates an advisory or professional relationship with you. For decisions specific to your own situation, we encourage you to consult a suitably qualified and registered professional.
Calculators and planning tools give estimates based on the figures and assumptions you enter, such as inflation, return rates and tax rules. Actual outcomes will differ. We check our calculations carefully, but we cannot promise that they are free of every error or that they suit every situation. Please treat results as a helpful guide and verify important figures before acting on them.
Returns, interest rates, tax rules, laws and regulations change from time to time. We rely on official and public sources and take care to keep information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, correct or current. Please confirm with the official source or the institution concerned before you act.
Past performance does not indicate future results. Investments in securities and other market-linked products are subject to market risks, and you may lose part or all of your money. Read all scheme and product documents carefully before investing.
Nothing on Finethic is an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy or sell any product. Comparisons and lists of options are meant only to give an overall picture to help your planning. The mention of any option, institution, fund, index or company is not an endorsement or a recommendation.
Some information on Finethic comes from, or links to, websites and services run by others, such as regulators, fund houses, banks, news providers and data services. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content or availability, and a link does not mean we approve of everything on the other site.
You use Finethic at your own discretion and risk, and you remain responsible for your own financial decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finethic and the people behind it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.
The text, design, calculators and other material on Finethic belong to Finethic, except for third-party material that belongs to its owners. You are welcome to use the site for your own learning and planning. Please ask us before copying or republishing substantial parts of it.
Paid training or planning services may be introduced later, and only after all required regulatory approvals are in place. Our intention is to keep learning and self-planning open to all, so that hardly anyone needs a paid service.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update this page from time to time, and continuing to use Finethic after an update means you accept the revised version.
For the rules on who may use Finethic and how its content may be used, please read our Terms & Conditions.
Finethic will never ask you for any of the following. Please never send them to us, or to anyone claiming to be from Finethic, by email, phone, message or any other way:
If someone contacts you in Finethic’s name asking for any of these, please do not respond, and let us know through the Contact page.
